About Ruby:	A natural ruby is a red variety of the mineral corundum, formed naturally in the earth without any artificial treatment.
Color (Most Important Factor):	The top quality rubies show with a deep red color, often called “pigeon blood red,” which is the always comes with value.
Composition:	Generally ruby gemstones are made of aluminum oxide, and their red color comes from traces of chromium.
Hardness:	Ruby ranks 9 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, making it one of the hardest gemstones after diamonds.
Rarity:	Natural rubies are found rarely comparatively to diamonds, especially high-quality ones with finest color and clarity & luster.
Sources (Origins):	Natural Burma Ruby, Sri Lankan Ruby, Thailand Ruby, and Mozambique Ruby & Tanzania Ruby.
Clarity:	Most natural rubies contain inclusions (internal marks) which are normal & natural sign. If you are looking for completely flawless rubies then it will be extremely rare and expensive.
Astrological Benefits:	According to Vedic astrology, ruby (manik) gemstone is associated with the Sun and is believed to enhance confidence, leadership, and authority.
Treatments:	Many rubies in the market are found heated and treated to improve color and clarity. Untreated (natural, unheated) rubies are more valuable. So always go with authentic labs (IIGJ/IGI/GRS/GIA) certification before to buy it.
Uses in Jewelry:	Due to their durability and beauty, rubies are widely used in rings, necklaces, and bracelets for both daily wear and special occasions.

1. Clean with Mild Soap & Lukewarm Water:	Use a soft bowl of lukewarm water mixed with mild soap. Gently clean the ruby ring using a soft toothbrush to remove dirt.
2. Remove During Heavy Work:	Avoid wearing your ruby ring while doing gym workouts, gardening, swimming, or household cleaning to protect it from impact and chemical exposure.
3. Keep Away from Extreme Heat:	Excessive heat or sudden temperature changes may affect the gemstone’s quality.
4. Wipe After Use:	After daily wear, gently wipe the ring with a soft cloth to remove dust for long time shine.

Carat Weight:	Always recommended 1/10 or of the body weight. E.g. a person weighing 60 kg can wear a 6-carat ruby.
