How to Wear 9 Mukhi Rudraksha?
According to expert gemologists at Brahma Gems, a 9 mukhi rudraksha must only be worn after performing a puja for its activation. This puja has been traditionally followed as a method to energize the rudraksha. It is recommended that the puja for activating a 9 mukhi rudraksha is performed early in the morning on a Saturday. The basic puja ritual is given below:
At the outset, clean the rudraksha with Gangajal or Panchamrut
For the 2 nd type of puja, you need:
Panchagavya/ Panchamrit, Gangajal, peepal leaves, kapur and coconut
 Rub sandalwood paste on the rudraksha, covering all sides
 Wave agarbatti or kapur all around the rudraksha
 Take a handful of white flowers and dedicate them to the rudraksha
 Lastly, touch the rudraksha to a shivlingor photo of Lord Shiva, chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya' 11 times.
 Sit facing east in a calm state of mind
 Dip the rudraksha in Gangajal to purify it
 On a copper plate, place 9 peepal leaves
 Make an offering of flowers and apply sandalwood paste to the rudraksha
Chant ‘AUM Namaha Shivay, Aum Hreem Namaha’ 108 times.
