How to Wear 3 Mukhi Rudraksha?
The 3 mukhi rudraksha should only be worn after performing the current puja as mentioned in the puranas. This will ensure that the wearer gets the full benefits from it. Cleaning and purifying the rudraksha before use is not only hygienic but it also activates the spiritual energies contained in it. The puja rituals given below have been followed for centuries in India and all over the world. Please read them carefully:
There are 2 types of poojas that can be used for energising the 3 mukhi rudraksha. They are:
The simplified ritual is given below:
Thoroughly clean the Rudraksha /mala with Gangajal or panchamrut
Take some sandalwood paste in your hands and gently apply it on the 3 mukhi Rudraksha
Use an agarbatti or camphor (kapur)to purify it
Sprinkle white flowers over the rudraksha
If you are performing the puja at home, touch the Rudraksha to a photo of Lord Shiva. If you are in a temple, touch it to a shivling and chant 'Om Namah Shivaya' 11 times.
You can now wear the rudraksha
The 2 nd type of puja can be performed as follows:
Make arrangements for Panchagavya or Panchamrit and Gangajal in an achmani, along with offerings like sandalwood paste, ghee and coconut.
Sit facing east and clean the 3 mukhi rudraksha in Panchagavya or Panchamrit, followed by gangajal. Take a plate and put 9 Peepal leaves on it.
Sprinkle Gangajal and do a few rounds with an agarbatti, while chanting:
AUM Namaha Shivay, Aum Hreem Namaha’ 108 times.
