How to Wear 7 Mukhi Rudraksha?
To get the full benefits of wearing the 7 mukhi rudraksha, it must be cleansed and activated. The process for activation is simple and can be performed at home, with a few common items like peepal leaves, sandalwood paste, agarbatti, Gangajal or Panchamrut. The best time for energising the 7 mukhi rudraksha is at dawn when there is stillness and peace in the atmosphere. According to experts, the best day for the puja to be performed is Friday, however, it is perfectly fine to do so on any other day of the week.

Panchagavya/ Panchamrit, Gangajal (in an achmani) and some peepal leaves, kapur and coconut
 To start, the rudraksha should be purified with Gangajal or Panchamrut
 Take a scoop of sandalwood paste and apply gently on the 7 mukhi rudraksha
 Next, use agarbatti or kapur and wave it in a circular motion around the place
 Dedicate white flowers to it
 Lastly, touch the rudraksha to a shivlingor photo of Lord Shvia, chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya' 11 times.
 Before beginning, sit facing eastward
 With a handful of Gangajal, clean the rudraksha gently
 Place it on a copper plate with 9 peepal leaves
 Make an offering of white flowers and apply sandalwood paste to it
Chant ‘AUM Namaha Shivay, Aum Hreem Namaha’ 108 times
